Malou Lovis - things i wrote down last night

With “things i wrote down last night”, Malou Lovis presents her first album – a collection of eleven songs reflecting her journey as an artist and as a person. The album takes listeners on an emotional adventure through themes such as self-discovery, loss, love, social expectations and empowerment. The title is a nod to her night-time journaling.

“things i wrote down last night” is not just a collection of beautiful songs but a statement. It tells of life's highs and lows, of loss, courage and the small and big decisions that shape a life.

Musically, the album moves between intimate ballads and powerful, driving arrangements. Every song mirrors Malou's versatility and artistic vision, combining female and queer empowerment with the warmth, down-to-earth nature and moving voice of a good friend.
